A very short note on Hurricane Gustav
I think it's pretty messed up to name a disaster after a Scando/Nordo when everyone knows how peaceloving, friendly and über-organized we are- what's next: Tornado Ikea?

Ahhhh, Verldens hurtigste traktor.
That would be Volvo: The world's slowest hurricane...with seriously annoying seatbelts. Hey I should get a job at Volvo making slogans:
Volvo: We'll smother you with Scandinavian Care...
or Volvo: The car that only halts near an IKEA
or simply: Trix are for kids and Volvos are for Scandos (and Scando lovers)

I am wondering why the heck they do not name a hurricane after a Spanish God or Conquerer. After all we already killed some people with some little unofensive viruses... With water it is just as easy... Hurricane Felipe that would be!!!
Sounds about right, and there have actually been some Spanish ones, or latin oriented anyway, Christobal, Joaquin...

It's all frightfully interesting.

Sounds good to me and who knows one day they might start naming them after celebs, I'm picturing the future headlines:
